Test mining snapshot not generated - Instance and Time frame issues



Issue name: Facing issues in generating Test mining reports in Test Discovery  

Type 1: Incorrect instance credentials or your credentials are not working


In case you are getting above error, recheck your instance credentials. The credentials may be wrong or they are not getting access to the selected ERP module. To navigate this error, use the admin user credentials to create the instance. It will provide Opkey access to all the ERP modules for test mining. To do this, you can click the profile icon and select the App Settings option.




Next, click on the instance tab. Select your ERP from the list. You will get the list of instances you or your admin have added. Click the three dots icon on the instance and choose the Edit Instance option. In the next page, you can enter your new ERP Admin user credentials and save it. 



Type 2: Test mining report not generated due to selected time frame related issues



Solution: When selecting the time frame for generating the test mining report in Test Discovery, choose a shorter range for the 'from' and 'to' dates. This approach helps in accurately capturing data from the selected instance, resulting in a more precise mining report. You can select the date range as per your requirements. If facing the issues in generating report, try reducing the difference in Start and End date for mining.
