Opkey's Test Discovery analyzes your testing environment and suggests testing scenarios that should be covered under your testing process. You can automate these suggested scenarios by using Test Discovery's Automate feature. You can also automate test cases in Mined scenarios.
In the following section, we will automate testing scenarios of an analyzed Oracle instance.
1. After mining the test data of an instance, we can automate the selected test case with the automate button present at the top of the middle panel.
2. On clicking the automate button, you can view the automation in the process.
3. Once the entire scenario gets automated, it will display the pop-up button with the Run Now or Add to Run List option.
4. Once you click the Run Now button, a new window opens to schedule the test run. You can choose the Run Now or Schedule Run option and click the Next button at the top. We have chosen the Run Now option here.
5. Select the required combination of Operating System, Browser, and Device and click the +Add button.
6. Once all the settings have been added, click on the Execute button at the top right corner. The test case execution will start.
You can also automate a scenario through the Automation tab on the right panel.
1. Select the test case and click the Automation tab on the right panel.
2. Click the Automate button on the tab to start the automation process.
3. It will start the same process as mentioned above to automate the test case. Once automated, you can initiate the test execution process.
