Module wise Testcase execution status Report

The module-wise test case report shows the results of passed and failed test cases with the submodule-specific tags. The tags will be added to the test case as shown in the image below.

The report will be generated from the Automate Report option under the Report tab on the left panel.

Let’s understand how it can be generated.

Click on the Report tab on the left panel. Select Automate Report from the options.

On the next window, click Generate Report.

Enter the report name on the window and select Module wise Testcase Execution Status Report option from the dropdown.

Under the Export Type option, you can select to export the report in PDF, Word document or Excel format. Select as per requirement.

The "Ignore State" tab allows you to filter test cases by excluding the selected states of the test case. The available options are Pass, Fail, Not executed, InProgress, and Incomplete.

For example, if you select the Incomplete state, the incomplete test cases will be excluded from the report.

Scroll down to access the option of Advanced Filter.

The filters can be applied for Release, executed on, Execution status, Build, Batch, Executed by. Click on Apply

Select the test cases by clicking the checkboxes and click Generate

Download and open the generated Module-wise summary report as shown below.

View the Oracle Fusion module-wise result distribution in the image above.

For each module, the result status of each test case is displayed.

This helps provide a clear understanding of each test case result associated with a module. For ex here we have generated the report for Oracle Fusion’s HCM Module wise test case report.
