Summary Report

In Opkey, you can now access the Summary Report for your test executions. This report is accessible for either individual test case runs, or multiple test cases incorporated within a test suite. It furnishes you with comprehensive details summarizing the executed test case.

The Summary Report can be generated from the Automate section under the Reports tab.

Let’s understand how it can be generated.

Click on the Report tab on the left panel. Select Automate Report from the options.

On the next window, click Generate Report

Enter the report name on the window and select Per Testcase Validation Report from the dropdown.

Under the Export Type option, you can select to export the report in PDF, Word document or Excel format. Select as per requirement.

The "Ignore State" tab allows you to filter test cases by excluding the selected states of the test case. The available options are Pass, Fail, Not executed, InProgress, and Incomplete.

For example, if you select the Incomplete state, the incomplete test cases will be excluded from the report.

Scroll down to access the option of Advanced Filter.

The filters can be applied for Release, executed on, Execution status, Build, Batch, Executed by. Click on Apply.

Select the test case by clicking the checkboxes and click Generate.

It redirects to the page to download the report. Click on the three dots to view the Download button. Click to download the generated report.

Click to open the downloaded report.

The report shows the overall summary of the report for its passed, failed test cases, and its steps.

The summary also contains the details of not executed, skipped over, and incomplete test details.
