Installing Opkey Browser Extension

Opkey Browser Extension is a free Chrome extension that enhances test management, bug reporting, and issue tracking. It allows you to seamlessly capture screenshots or recordings, generate tickets, report bugs, and create and assign tasks to your team.

A standout feature of the Opkey Browser Extension is its built-in support for executing manual test cases. This feature allows you to conveniently access and manage your manual test cases in one place.

Whether testing on Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or other packaged applications and ERPs, the Opkey Browser Extension lets you record test cases using its record and playback functionality.

Let's understand the Opkey Browser Extension installation process in the following steps on Opkey Classic.

Note - Click here if you are on Opkey one new UI and your Opkey domain has a URL similar to eg. example.opkeyone.com

1. Click the Download Center icon on your Project Workspace in Opkey.

2. Click the Opkey Browser Extension option to navigate to the Opkey Browser Extension page on Chrome Web Store or click here.

3. On the next page, click the Add to Chrome button to proceed.

4. Click Add Extension.

5. Your Opkey Browser extension is now integrated with Chrome. Click the extension button on your Chrome browser and select Opkey Browser Extension to launch it.

6. Input your Opkey environment details and login credentials in the Opkey Browser extension window to activate the extension.

With the Opkey browser extension, you can record test cases, create a ticket, create user story, capture image, capture video too.
