Opkey requires Java 17. You don't need a separate JRE installation if you install JDK. Download JDK 8 or 17 by clicking here.
Under the Downloads menu, click the link that corresponds to the installer for your version of Windows.
Start the JRE 8 Installer by double-clicking the installer's icon or file name in the download location.
Click on Continue.
Click on Continue.
Click on Install.
The Installation begins.
The Installation is now successfully done.

Open Terminal Type Java -version and press enter.
