Working with Single Sign-On feature in Opkey

Overview:

SSO simplifies user identity management for multiple applications, enabling access with a single set of credentials and minimizing login prompts during the same session.

A notable example is Google's SSO implementation, where logging in to one of their products, like Gmail or YouTube, automatically logs the user into their other products.

Some common advantages of SSO:

  • Eliminates the need for users to remember and manage multiple passwords.

  • Streamlines the user experience by enabling them to log in at a single access point and enjoy a seamless experience across multiple applications.

  • Enhances productivity by significantly reducing password-related support requests.

  • Decreases the risk of phishing attempts, ensuring users don't disclose sensitive information unknowingly.
